INTERFACIAL ENGINEERING
We specialize in the application of statistical and irreversible thermodynamics to mesoscopic phenomena such as (nano)particle deposition (2000), ligand binding to macromolecular systems (2003), drying of colloidal films (2007), stick-slip transition in nanopores (2007), heterogeneous catalysis in nano-colloidal systems (2006), and self assembly (2009).
Activities will terminate June 2020.

March 2020 Emma's paper on The Effect of Magnetic Field on Catalytic Properties in Core-Shell Type Particles is published in Frontiers in Chemistry.
Ger Koper will retire on 6 June 2020, a farewell meeting will be organized Friday 5 June 2020 starting at 3 pm in the ChemE-building.
