Please note that TPM Graduate School is not the institute to refer to when considering applying for a PhD-position at TU Delft or TPM: we enroll students that have been selected by one of our professors in the context of a job opening, or in the context of a scholarship-program. If you are interested in a PhD-position at TU Delft in general, or at our Faculty in specific, please contact one of our professors whose work you find interesting, to see if he or she has an opportunity for you. Alternatively, you may visit our job-site.

Finances

If you plan to attain your PhD at TPM-Graduate School as a scholarship-student (that is: you will not be employed by our Faculty), we expect your scholarship to cover living costs in the Netherlands as well as our Graduate School’s entrance fee. Living costs are estimated at a minimum of Euro 1,250 per month (or: 48 * Euro 1,250 = Euro 60,000 for the entire course of your PhD-trajectory), and the entrance fee for the Graduate School (which also covers education) is set at Euro 7,500. This means that you will need a scholarship of at least Euro 67,500. Your promotor might decide to cover your entrance fee (Euro 7,500) from his or her budget, but this is at the discretion of your promotor.
